Wrzos, John (1890? - 28 AUG 1957)
John Wrzos, 67, a resident of Clark County’s town of Withee, was killed instantly about 8:30 o’clock last night when his car rolled over a half mile north of the junction of Highways 64 and 73.
Wrzos was riding alone and is believed to have lost control of the car on a slight road curve. He was thrown out of the right side of the vehicle and dragged along the roadway for a short distance. A passing motorist reported the mishap to authorities.
The fatality was the third on Taylor county highways this year and was investigated by Undersheriff Don Underwood, Tom Smith, county traffic officer, and Frank Perkins, Taylor County Coroner.
Wrzos was a single man. His body was removed to the Thorp Funeral Home. Survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Tom Gunia and Mrs. John Kaczmarczyk, both of Thorp.
