Kytola, Andrew (28 NOV 1885 - 31 AUG 1957)
Andrew Kytola passed away on Aug. 31, 1957 at 1:30 a.m. at the Havenet Nursing Home in Owen, after a short illness. He was born in Finland on Nov. 28, 1885. He came to the U.S. in 1900 and lived in Massachusetts until 1906. He was united in marriage on Sept. 1, 1906 to Lisa Buka at Crystal Falls, Mich. They lived in Caspian, Mich., until 1917, when they moved to their farm in the town of Longwood (Clark Co., Wis.). His wife passed away in 1953.
He leaves to mourn, his son Niels Kytola of Greenwood R.R., daughters Ann (Mrs. Arne Halpanen) of Owen, Eva (Mrs. Johnson) of Milwaukee and son Arthur Taylor of Hopkins, Minn., three grandchildren and a host of friends.
Services were conducted at the Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home on Sept. 2, 1957 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Ralph Claybaugh officiating. The music was furnished with Mrs. Don Marshall the soloist and Karen Potocnik the organist.
Pallbearers were John Nisula, Morton Harycki, Frank Karye, Milton Seaman, Gust Salo and Torvo Maninen. Flowers were carried by Mrs. John Nisula and Mrs. M. Harycki. Interment was in Riverside Cemetery.
