Skora, James (18 August 1979 - 7 June 2010)

 

James Skora, 30, died Sunday, June 7, 2010, on the way to the Marshfield hospital.  Cause of death was pulmonary embolism.

 

James was born Aug. 18, 1979, the youngest of 12 children.  He was a thinker; he loved to read and learn new things.  He enjoyed nature. He was a devoted, helpful son and brother; he would do anything for anyone any time.  Jim worked as a machinist at EDI; he took pleasure in working with metal and was skilled in car repairs.  He will be missed very much.

 

He was preceded in death by his brother, Stanley, and his father, Adam Skora.

 

He is survived by his mother, Kathleen Skora, of Greenwood; siblings, Ann (Dave) Schuh, Eau Claire, oldest brother Patrick (Marcella) Skora, Sierra Vista, AZ, Joseph (Lourdes) Skora, Eagan, MN, Frances (Dave) Schultz, Pittsville, Jackie Skora, Madison, Arthur Skora, Greenwood; Susan (Joel) Richards, Carver, MN, William Skora, Chippewa Falls, Amelia (Ken) LaCasse, Cottage Grove, MN, David (Brenda) Skora, Minnetonka, MN; and 10 nephews and nieces.

 

There will be no funeral or services.  This is what Jim wanted.  He is an organ donor and was cremated June 9, 2010 with his ashes to be spread on his mother’s land.
