Oldham, Marjorie Elaine (2 April 1958 - 2 June 2010)

 

Marjorie Elaine Oldham, 52, of Chetek passed away Wednesday, June 2, 2010, at her home.

 

Marjorie was born April 2, 1958, in Bellingham, Wash., daughter of Peter and Betty (Bouma) Groen.  She graduated from high school in Bellingham.  She married Gene Alan Oldham April 9, 1995 in Phillips, Wis.  She was a factory worker at McCain Foods in Rice Lake.  She loved doing bead work and being outdoors. She especially loved kayaking.  Marjorie was a great wife. She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Ladysmith.

 

Marjorie is survived by her husband, Gene of Chetek; son, Riley Byer of Neillsville; stepsons, Thomas (Ashley) Oldham of Merrillan, Wis., and Josh Oldham; stepdaughter, Casandra Oldham of Humbird; two grandchildren, Ava Rae Oldham and Connor Everson; brother, Russell Gruen of Washington; sisters, Delores (Martin) of Spokane, Wash., Teresa (Carlos) Martin of Moses Lake, Wash., and Marline Gruen of Seattle, Wash.; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

 

Services will be at 12 p.m. Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at Hope Lutheran Church in Ladysmith.  Friends may call one hour prior to services at the church.
