Hills, Charles (13 DEC 1942 - 25 JUNE 2010)
Charles K. "Chuck" Hills, 67, Wausau, died on Friday, June 25, 2010, after a brief illness. Services were held at noon on Tuesday, June 29, at Helke Funeral Home, Wausau. Full military rited were accorded by the American Legion Post #10.
Charles Kenneth Hills was born on Dec. 13, 1942, in Loyal, to Alfred Sr. and Ina hills. He served in the U.S. Army for four years. He worked at John Muir Middle School until his retirement. He was a past commander of American Legion Post #10, where he remained active until his death. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, fishing, playing cribbage, golfing and reading.
Survivors include his wife, Marge; a daughter, Rebecca, her husband, Jeff, and their three sons, Justin, Joshua and Jonathan, Knoxville, Tenn.; a son, Randy, his wife Becky, and their two children, Derick and Katelyn, Wausau; three brothers, Donald, John and mike; two sisters, Doreen and Susan; and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents; two brothers, Alfred Jr., and David; and two sisters, Doris and Sandra.
