Business people, professional people and friends whom Miss Natalie Scherf has served continuously in one capacity or another for the past 40 years in the State Bank of Withee, honored her with remembering this anniversary date last Friday.

During these many years she has gained the respect of the extended community this well established banking institution has served so profitably and securely.  And it is these people, farmers, housewives, business people, laboring men, who joined in extending anniversary greetings on this occasion.

It is because of her mild mannered, friendly, but sound business personality, that she has steadily advance since joining the staff of the bank 40 years ago, to her present day capacity of cashier.

From Nov. 15, 1917 until Nov. 15, 1957 is a long record of services to one institution, but Miss Scherf’s many associate within the bank itself, patrons of the bank and her professional associates in the banking business hope that she will one day observe another anniversary - Nov. 15, 1917 - Nov. 14, 1967.
