Heiser, Brian Joseph (23 August 1954 - 27 June 2010)

 

Brian Heiser, age 55, of Beemer, NE, passed away on Sunday, June 27, 2010 at the Colonial Haven Nursing Home in Beemer, NE.

 

A Mass of Christian Burial for Brian will be on Thursday, July 1, 2010, at 10:30 a.m. at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Beemer, NE. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m., with a Vigil Service at 7:30 p.m., and will continue on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the church.

 

Brian Joseph Heiser was born August 23, 1954, in Stanley, WI to Clifford and Edith (Blazel) Heiser.  He grew up in Stanley, working at Long’s Meat Market and packing houses.  On November 20, 1981, he was united in marriage to Rita Alger in Thorp, WI.  In January of 1988, the couple moved to Beemer, NE.  Brian had worked at Beef America in Norfolk, Elkhorn Packing in Dodge, and at the Mill Road Truck Wash in West Point, NE. 

 

Brian was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Beemer, NE.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting pool, the Green Bay Packers, Chicago Cubs, making sausage, preparing for demolition derby’s, attending his children’s sporting events, helping Chester’s with parade float preparations, helping with caroling at Christmas, and spending time with his grandchildren and his buddies.

 

Survivors include his wife, Rita Heiser, of Beemer, NE; children: Ginger and Jeff Waegli of Cadott, WI, Ryan and Kasey Heiser of Wayne, NE, Robert and Traci Heiser of Wayne, NE, and Ricky Heiser of Beemer, NE; three grandsons; siblings: Mary Kay and Jim Aveldson of Richfield, MN, Becky and Dan Brandemuehl of Neillsville, WI, and mike Heiser of Stanley, WI.   Several nieces and nephews also survive him.

 

Brian was preceded in death by his parents.
