Haemer, Ernest J. (3 JUN 1881 - 5 FEB 1956)

 

Ernest Jacob Haemer, 72, was place in his final resting place at Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 8th, following funeral services held at two o’clock from the Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home, Owen.  The Rev. H. D. Wagner, pastor of the Alliance Church, Owen, officiated at the service.  Vocal selections were rendered by Rev. Mrs. Wagner.

 

Serving as pallbearers were Arthur Awe, Frank Rinehart, Melvin Engebretson, David Jackson, Henry Buss and Frank Buss.

 

A resident of this community for 36 years, the deceased passed quietly away at his farm home, six miles south of Owen (Clark Co.), at one o’clock Sunday afternoon, after a week’s illness.

 

Born June 3, 1881, at East Moline, Ill., he was united in marriage Aug. 21, 1907, to Edith Stark.  In 19120 the couple moved to his present day home south of Owen.  His wife preceded him in death, passing away on May 14, 1938.

 

He is survived by two sons, Lloyd of Curtiss; Clyde of Owen, and seven grandchildren.
