Johnson, Olga #2 (10 AUG 1894 - NOV 1967)

 

Olga Johnson was born in Clark County, Town of Warner on Aug. 10, 1894.  She received her education in Christopherson School and was married on July 16, 1918 to Sigward Johnson, who survives her.  Prior to her marriage she had been employed at Benton Harbor, Mich.  The couple farmed in the town of Unity and moved to Loyal about four years ago after retirement.  Mrs. Johnson was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church.

 

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Johnson is survived by three sons, Edward, Spencer; Raymond and Calvin, Loyal; a daughter, Mrs. Louis (Ila) Felton, Marshfield; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

 

She was preceded in death by one brother and five sisters.

 

Services were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Greenwood with Rev. Arvid Myhrwold officiating, and burial was made in the Greenwood Cemetery.

 

Pallbearers were Howard Hallowell, Dale Johnson, Ward Hebert, Leonard Gustafson, Vern Catlin and Dale Jolivette.

 

The Rev. and Mrs. Arvid Myhrwold sang "Bide With Me," and the congregation sang "O Happy Day When We Shall Stand."  They were accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Don Warner.
