Kerns, Tom (House Fire - 27 November 1903)
Tom Kerns House Burns a Little - Last Thursday a little before noon a spark from a chimney set fire to the roof of the Thos. Kerns house on Grand Avenue North. A prompt alarm got the firemen there in quick time. The damage done was very slight, and the Kerns household enjoyed the Thanksgiving dinner as usual.
