Ampe, Diane (4 AUG 1967)

 

The Gospel Mission Church in Greenwood was the setting for a wedding Friday, Aug. 4, 1967.  Miss Diane Ampe, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis., and Robert Harms, Upland, Indiana, were married there at 7:00 p.m. by Rev. Michael Dunn in a double ring ceremony.  Two solos were sung by Susan Dunn with organist Helen Ratzloff of Marshfield.

 

Miss Ampe, daughter of Gretchen Ampe, Sarasota, Fla., and Art mape, greenwood, was given in marriage by her father to the son of Verna Harms, Greenwood, and Dave Harms, Monroe, Wis.

 

The bride’s dress was floor length with an empire waist tapering to an A-line.  The back was highlighted with a bow of bridal satin.  The bodice was lace and the remainder of the dress bridal satin.  She carried white roses with stephanotis.

 

Best many was Ray Harms, and maid of honor was Marilyn Dunn.  Miss Dunn wore a floor length gown of lemon yellow accented with an empire waist and satin bow of sunset yellow and carried yellow daisies with dark green foliage to offset it.

 

Ushers were Dave Ampe and Malcome Dunn.

 

The wedding supper was held for 70 guests at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Greenwood.

 

The new Mrs. Harms is a graduate of Greenwood High School and Practical Nurse’s Training, and is employed at Marion General Hospital, Marion, Indiana.  Bob is also a graduate of Greenwood High School and is an orderly at Marion General Hospital, while he also attends college and is a member of Phy Beta Gorila.  Their home address is Box 154, Taylor University, Upland Indiana.
