Beyer, Arnold M. #2 (1 MAY 1891 - 13 JUL 1967)

 

Arnold Martin Beyer, 76, died of a brain hemorrhage at noon Thursday, July 13, 1967 in St. Joseph’s Hospital at Marshfield, where he was admitted Wednesday morning.  He had been in poor health for the past several years.

 

Services were conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Zion United Church of Christ with the Rev. David Logue officiating.  Burial was in the Greenwood Cemetery.

 

Hill’s Funeral Home had charge of funeral arrangements.

 

Mr. Beyer was born May 1, 1891, in Greenwood, and received his education in the town of Warner.  His marriage to Fern Sloniker took place June 11, 1914, at Greenwood.

 

Mr. Beyer was a cheesemaker in Greenwood for many years, and also made cheese at Alma Center for 12 years, and managed a chees factory in Marshfield for three years.

 

He was a member of Zion United Church of Christ.

 

His only survivor is his wife.

 

Five brothers and a sister preceded him in death.
