Dairy Record Ass’n (Picnic - 15 June 1928)
Five hundred members and past members of the Dairy Record Association will attend the first annual meeting and picnic at Schuster Park, Friday, June 15th.
Geo. C. Humphrey, head of the Dairy husbandry of the College of Agriculture will be the principal speaker of the day. Mr. Humphrey has just returned from the Hawaiian Islands, having judged Dairy Cattle at their Fair. He should have some interesting things to tell about.
Another well known person, Robert Amundson County Agent of Appleton, Wis., who is the inventor of the Mail Order Testing System, will be present and show the various stages of development of this new system.
Plans and policies for the association will be taken up at the business session of the Association immediately after dinner.
Further announcement of the program will be made next week. The association extends a cordial invitation for all Dairymen to attend whether they belong to the Association or not.
