Clark County, Wis. Holstein Breeders (7 July 1928)

The annual meeting of Clark county Holstein Breeders was held Saturday at Greenwood.

W. J. Davis of Granton, president of the Association presided.  At the election of officers Mr. Davis was re-elected president.  Wm. Naedler of Neillsville was elected vice president, Arthur Imig, Neillsville, Secretary, Edwin Peterson of Curtiss Treasurer, and John Wuethrich of Greenwood director.

County Agent H. M. Knipfel gave an excellent talk on the progress and development of the dairy breeds in Clark County and the work being done by the Calf Clubs.

It was decided to hold the annual Holstein picnic on Wednesday, August 22.

The picnic will be held at the County Asylum grounds at Owen on the same date as the adjourned meeting of the County Board also to be held at the Asylum grounds.

Further particulars of this meeting and picnic will be published later.
