Principal, Community High School, Greenwood, Wis.

You will be pleased to know that some former pupil of you high school will be listed in the printed program for this year’s Honor Day Convocation.  Our first Honor Day was observed in 1925 and our forty-third annual convocation will be held in the University Assembly Hall, Friday afternoon, May 5th, 1967 at 1:15.

On this occasion the University of Illinois gives public recognition to those full time students who have been on the Semester Dean’s List for all semesters they were enrolled since last Convocation Day.  Freshmen are considered if they are on the Deans’ List of their college during the first semester enrolled.

Michael James Plautz will receive Honor Day Recognition, 1967 and will have his name printed in the Honors Day Book and also this distinction will be recorded on his permanent University record.

Interested people who cannot attend may appreciate knowing that University Radio Station WILL (580 kilocycles) will broadcast the program.

Very truly yours, Richard R. Marsh, Chairman, Common Honors Recognition, All-University Faculty Honors Council
