Syth, Colleen A. (8 APR 1967)
Richard Martin Adler, son of Mrs. Roman Adler, 812 W. Adler Road, Marshfield, and the late Mr. Adler, claimed Miss Colleen Annette Syth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reynold Syth of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), as his bride, Saturday, April 8, 1967.
The marriage ceremony, in which the bride was given by her father, took place at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greenwood, with the Rev. Aloysius F. Baumann, pastor, officiating at the 12 o’clock noon rites.
A linen saki empire style full length dress was chosen by the bride. Her imported silk illusion bouffant veil fell from an organza rosette headpiece, and she carried eucharis lilies.
Miss Luanne Syth, Burbank, Calif., served as maid of honor. Miss Kathleen Herr, greenwood, and Miss Barbara Adler, Marshfield, were bridesmaids. All wore yellow sheaths of saki and silk organza with Watteau trains, tiara petal headpieces of nylon net and floral springs, and nose veils and carried wicker baskets of daisies.
Norman Adler served the groom as his best man and Glen Adler and Dennis Syth were groomsmen. Thomas Adler and Brian Schmidt ushered wedding guests.
A reception and dinner took place at the Star Lodge Motel in Loyal after the church services. After a honeymoon to the west coast the couple will make their home in Greenwood where he is office manager for Clark Electric Corporation.
The bride, a 1962 graduate of Greenwood High School, has been employed at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield. Mr. Adler graduated in 1960 from Columbus High School, Marshfield.
