Brown, Wallace G. #2 (10 APR 1931 - 5 JAN 1967)
Wallace George Brown, 35, Oshkosh, a former resident of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), was found dead in his apartment Thursday, Jan. 5, 1967, of an apparent heart attack.
The body was brought to the Hill Funeral Home in Greenwood on Tuesday where services were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. David Logue, pastor of Immanuel - Zion United Churches of Christ, Greenwood, officiated, and burial was made in the Greenwood Cemetery.
Wallace G. Brown was born April 10, 1931, in the town of Longwood, Clark County, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Brown, now residing in Seattle, Wash. After leaving Greenwood, the family moved to Minnesota, and Wallace attended Concordia College in Moorhead, Minn., and later received his bachelor of arts and master’s degree from the University of Wichita, Kan.
Her served in the Marine Air Corp from 1952 until 1955, and in 1965 joined the faculty of the Wis. State University Oshkosh. He never married.
In addition to his parents, survivors are three brothers, Robert, Seattle, Wash.; and Kenneth and Wayne, Renton, Wash.
