Bielecki, Rosaline (17 DEC 1966)
Bouquets of white chrysanthemums and pink carnations flanked the altar of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Globe for the wedding Dec. 17, 1966 of Miss Rosaline Bielecki, daughter of Frank Bielecki of Rt. 3, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), and James Douglas Rice, son of Mr. and Mrs. James K. Rice of Rt. 1, Willard. The Rev. David Witte officiated at the double ring ceremony.
For her wedding the bride chose a floor length bridal gown of Chantilly lace. The fitted bodice was complemented with long, tapered sleeves and a Sabrina neckline. The bouffant skirt featured a front panel encircled by tiers of ruffled lace, sweeping into a chapel train. Pearl edged petals of peau secured her bouffant veil of sheer illusion. She carried a Mantilla bouquet of white Eucharis lilies and phalanopsis orchids.
Miss Delores Malaszuk served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Kathleen Malaszuk and Mrs. Ericka Mason.
The attendants were seen in floor length sheaths of crepe in pink, highlighted by lace back panels. Their empire bodices of lace in beauty were enhanced by elbow length sleeves fashioned with flattering ruffles. Floral cloches held their veils in beauty. Each carried a Victorian nosegay of pink and white miniature carnations.
Doreen Fifer, as miniature bride, wore a floor length dress of white lace, fashioned with a bouffant skirt that featured tiers of lace. A petite crown of pearls and crystals held her veil. She carried a single Eucharis lily.
Allen Lamovec of Greenwood was best man. Groomsmen were Darwin Anton and Mason Bielecki of Thorp. Ushers were Raymond Rice and Henry Lamovec. William Fifer, as ring bearer, carried the rings on a heart shaped satin pillow.
Mr. and Mrs. Rice will reside in Stevens Point where Mr. Rice is attending Wis. State University.
