He was born at Willard (Clark County, Wis.) on Nov. 14, 1913, to the late Frank and Franceska Lesar. As a young lad he had been stricken with polio which left him with a partially disabled arm.

Also surviving are four sisters, Mary, Frances, Anne and Agnes; and by four brothers, Frank, John, Barney (Joe), all of Willard, and Louis, Ely, Minnesota.
The funeral services for Edward Lesar were held on Monday, Nov. 28 in St. Anthony’s Church at Ely, and burial was in the church cemetery.
