Bruns, Clare A. (12 NOV 1966)

 

On Saturday, Nov. 12, 1966, at 11:00 a.m. Clare Ann Bruns, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George F. Bruns, R. 2, Luxemburg, and Timothy John Plunkett, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Plunkett, Sr., Greenwood, were united in marriage at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, Green Bay, by Monsignor Orville Griese.  The bride was given in marriage by her father.

 

The bride wore a white, full length A-line dress with Empire waistline of Poi de Soi with elbow length sleeves and cape of Venetian lace.  Her headpiece was a high pillbox of Venetian lace with elbow length French illusion veil.

 

Bridal attendants were Mrs. Robert Levenbusky, Milwaukee, as matron of honor, and Miss Mary Ann Ruby, St. Louis, Mo., as bridesmaid.

 

They wore gold A-line dresses with empire waist, full length, elbow length sleeves and bodice of Venetian lace.

 

The groom’s attendants were George Plunkett, La Crosse, as best man, and Thomas Schneider, Milwaukee, groomsman.

 

Robert Chmilewski and Joseph Bucheger, Milwaukee, were ushers.

 

A breakfast and reception were held at the Elks Club, Green Bay.

 

The bride attended St. Joseph’s Academy, Green Bay and Mercy Hospital School of Nursing, Oshkosh.  She is employed at St. Michael’s Hospital, Milwaukee, as a Registered Nurse.

 

The groom attended Greenwood High School and Wis. State University, La Crosse, where he is affiliated with Beta Sigma Chi Fraternity.

 

The groom is finishing his degree in Physical Education.

 

After a honeymoon to Chicago, they will be at home at 3961A N. 15th St., Milwaukee.
