Teachers Training Course (16 October 1928)
Last Tuesday the students of the Teachers Training Course of Neillsville High School did observation work - one group of ten students going with their teacher, Miss Hazel Baker, and the other group of ten going with Co. Supt. Margaret Van Natta. They visited the Kurth School, Miss Bernice Eide, teacher, and Wild Rose School in Grant, taught by Miss Cleo Rowe, the two groups exchanging schools in the afternoon.
On Thursday, they again went out for observation, visiting Grand View School in Pine Valley, taught by Amos Boe and the Reed School in Grant, Miss Vera Wright, teacher.
Other rural schools will be visited during the year. These visits give the students an opportunity to see how work is done in country schools where most of the students will later be employed as teachers.
