Oil paintings by Mrs. Church Lombard, Greenwood (Clark Co.), Wis., are on exhibit at the Loyal Public Library. The collection includes two still lifes, "Three O’clock" and "Arrangement in Blue," two landscapes, "First Snow" and "Morning in the Mountains," and three portraits, Nancy, Ray, and Jana.
Mrs. Lombard, who refers to herself as a "hobby painter," has participated in art classes at the Taylor County Teacher’s College, area vocation schools and at classes conducted by Mr. John Snedic of Greenwood.
Mrs. Lombard prefers portraits and devotes more time to it than to other forms of expression.
The Lombards are the parents of five children. The public is invited to view the exhibit during regular library hours, 3 to 5 p.m. on Tues., Wed, and Thurs, 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, and 10 to 11 a.m., and 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday.
