Boy Scout (Reorganizing - December 1928)
The organization of the Boy Scout of the city which had not been fully carried out will go on to completion. Francis Schweinler has consented to act as Scoutmaster. The fees were sent into headquarters some time ago; in order to secure a charter it is now only necessary to have the application signed by three citizens who will stand back of the organization. At the Kiwanis Club Monday, President H. O. Huckstead was authorized to appoint such a committee and he named Dr. J. H. Brooks, who was a member of a former committee, Rev. E. H. Vornholdt and Geo. E. Crothers.
