Brandt, Lee A. (August 25, 1966 - July 4, 2010)

 

Lee A. Brandt, 43, Colby, passed away unexpectedly in an accident on Waneta Lake in the Town of Tyrone, NY on July 4, 2010.

 

Lee was born on Aug. 25, 1966, the only son of George and Alice (Wiechman) Brandt.

 

He graduated from the Colby High School in 1984. He was employed by Stainless Specialists Inc. in Wausau and owned Lee’s Buckhorn Bar in Colby. Lee enjoyed making people laugh, motorcycling, snowmobiling, tractor/truck pulls, hunting, traveling, water sports and was an avid outdoorsman.


He is lovingly survived by his mother, Alice Brandt of Colby; father, George (Sandy) Brandt of Mayville; sister, Laurel Kunze of Ashland; her children, Rachel Schreiber of Marshfield, Eric Kunze of Denver, Craig and Kristen Kunze of Abbotsford; sister, Lynn (Dan) Brodziski of Spencer; their children, Brittany Brodziski of Green Bay, Beth and Bryan Brodziski of Spencer; sister, Dorene (Randy) Matter of Spencer; their children, Travis and Tara Matter of Spencer; sister, Kim (Doug) Empey of Colby; their children, Tyler and Jessica Empey of Colby; sister, Kelly (Marty) Lawrence of Spencer; their children, Alyssa and Paige Lawrence of Spencer. He will be missed by many relatives and friends.


His funeral service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church in Colby on July 12, 2010, family will receive guests from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 7 p.m. and again following the service. The Rev. Mark Neumann will preside. Burial will be private.
