Krueger, Anna Marie (February 16, 1930 - June 28, 2010)
Rueben C. Preisinger, age 80, of Colby, formerly of Butternut, passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital on June 28, 2010.
Rueben was born on February 16, 1930 to Rupert and Olga (Christianson) Preisinger in Colfax, WI.
He attended Butternut Country School. He was drafted to the Army where he served overseas in Germany. On Aug. 1 1953 he married Delores Sturm.
Rueben worked St. Croix Corporation and later at Genex until the time of his retirement. He was an active member at Zion Lutheran Church in Colby and a member of the Colby Lions Club.
He is survived by his wife: Delores of Colby; children: Judy (Stephen) Bucheger of Granton, and Mike (Marie) Preisinger of Colby; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sisters Betty Malmin and Carol (Duane) Meye; one brother Robert (Lynda) Preisinger.
He is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers Roland, Darol and Roger Preisinger.
His funeral service will be on Thursday, July 1, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Colby. The Rev. Mark Neumann will officiate. Friends may call for a memorial gathering one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the church. Interment will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 2, 2010 at Union Cemetery in Butternut, WI.
