Boy Shot (Spencer, Wis. - 17 February 1929)
District Attorney V. W. Nehs was notified by phone Sunday that a boy named Hubert, aged 17, living near Spencer, was shot while hunting Sunday, in the Town of Sherman. Mr. Nehs made inquiry into the matter and learned from the circumstances that the death was accidental without doubt and decided no inquest was necessary. The boy had been trapping and left home Sunday with his gun; not returning, a search was made and his body found in the snow.
