Lamovec, Phyllis (13 AUG 1966)

Nuptial music was provided by Miss Sarah Pekol for the wedding of Miss Phyllis Lamovec, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Lamovec, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), and James Anderson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chester Anderson, Eau Claire, who were married at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, 1966, by the Rev. William Nikolai at Holy Family Catholic Church of Willard.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a floor length bridal gown of silk organza in the empire silhouette.  Venise lace framed the elbow length sleeves and waistline.  A detachable train edged in the same lace highlighted the slim lines.

Her veil of silk illusion in fingertip length was held by a dainty cabbage rose headpiece, and her flowers were white and red roses.

Mrs. Larry Wilkom, Chippewa Falls, was matron of honor and Miss Bernadine Koschak and Mrs. Richard Piltz were bridesmaids.  They wore empire floor length sheaths having brocade empire bodices of coral and gold featuring scoop necklines and pouf sleeves.  The skirts were of multicolored crepe-vanilla, gold and coral.  French bows held their bouffant bustle veils, and their bouquets were chrysanthemums tinted to complement their gowns.

Jerry Kruger, Eau Claire, was best man.  Groomsmen were Ray Kruger and Allan Lamovec and the ushers were Henry Lamovec, Jr., and Allen Block.

A dinner was served in the church hall, and in the afternoon there was a reception at the bride’s parental home.  Following a northern honeymoon, the Andersons will live in Eau Claire, where their address will be 516 Menomonie St.

The bride attended Wis. State University - Eau Claire, and works at the Community State Bank there.  Her husband is employed by Northern States Power Co., Eau Claire.
