Mr. and Mrs. Herman C. Metzke, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), announce the engagement of their daughter, Joan, Greenwood, to Glendon W. Fischer, P.S.R., Medford, son of Mrs. Barbara Fischer, P.S.R. Medford and the late Mr. George Fischer. Miss Metzke will be teaching at the Westboro Elementary School while her fiancé is junior high school science instructor at Rib Lake. A September 24th wedding is being planned.
