Neillsville (Water Main Extensions - 1929)
A crew is at work under the direction of the city Water Committee, laying water mains east along East Fifteenth Street to North Bruley Street to Ninth Street. This will cut out some "dead ends" in the pipe lines in that locality, and also bring water service to a part of the city which greatly increases the value of property long the line.
The Water Committee plans to make extensions elsewhere in the city so as to eliminate all "dead ends" by establishing circuits permitting the water to circulate and thus keep the pipes clean and the water in much better condition.
