Miss Anita E. Hinkelmann, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Hinkelmann of Loyal, and Edward Radue, son of August Radue, of Marshfield and Mrs. Elsie Radue of Wausau, were married at 3 o’clock, July 3, at Trinity Lutheran church here with the  Rev. John C. Langholz officiating.

Mrs. Edwin Dux and Mrs. Erwin Noeldner sang "O Promise Me" and "Jesus Be Our Guide," for the double ring ceremony, accompanied by Miss Eunice Langholz.

The church was decorated with white, pink, yellow and blue streamers, also with baskets of flowers.

The bride’s siser, Miss Leona Hinkelmann, was maid of honor, and Herman Radue of Madison, brother of the groom, served as best man.

The bridesmaids were Mrs. Arden Hinkelmann and Mrs. Donald Brown of Greeley, Col., sisters of the groom. Groomsmen were Arden Hinkelmann, brother of the bride, and Donald Brown.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a princess styled gown of white slipper satin, with a square lace neckline, long sleeves coming to points at the wrists and lace inserts in front and back, extending into the train. Her lace trimmed fingertip veil was fastened to a seed pearl crown. She carried an arm bouquet of white glaioli and rubrum lilies.

The maid of honor and Mrs. Hinkelmann wore gowns of pink and yellow taffeta, styled with sweetheart necklines, cap sleeves and bustle backs. Elbow length gloves completed their attire. Mrs. Brown wore a gown of blue embroidered taffeta with a sweetheart neckline and three quarter length sleeves. They carried bouquets of white, lavender and pink gladioli, with matching head bands.

Walter Hinkelmann of Unity and Walter Radue of Loyal served as ushers.

Seventy guests were present at the reception at the home of the bride’s parents. The home was decorated with white, pink, yellow and blue streamers. A three-tiered white wedding cake, topped with a miniature bride and groom centered the bridal table. It was baked by Miss Ida Hillert of Evanston, Ill.

In the evening a wedding dance and coin shower were held at the Silver Dome ballroom, near Neillsville.

The bride is a graduate of the Sunny Knoll school, and the groom, a graduate of the Wausau Senior high school, is now employed at the Pleasant View dairy here.

Guests from away who attended the wedding were: Ewald Hinkelmann of Rockford, Ill., Ida Hillert of Evanston, Ill., Mt. and Mrs. John Kurz and son, Henry, of Spencer. Dr. and Mrs. Hugo Rosa and son, Allan, of Stevens Point, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Radue and family of Chili, Mr. and Mrs. Gregor Wolf and family of Marathon, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Kemps of Minneapolis, Minn., and Miss Lois Neitzke of Wausau.
