The Rt. Rev. Msgr. L. V. Barnes of Augusta, Ga., uncle of the bride, officiated at the marriage of Miss Margaret Barnes to Irvin Hoesly on Sept. 4, at St. Mary’s Catholic church in Greenwood. The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. R. L. Barnes of Greenwood, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Baltz Hoesly of Granton.
Mrs. Donald Degehhardt of Chicago, sister of the groom, was matron of honor, and Miss Joan Barnes of Greenwood, sister of the bride, and Miss Agnes Koller of Marshfield were the bridesmaids.

The bride was gowned in white satin, styled with a bustle back and train. She wore a short veil and an orchid. Light green marquisette, fashioned with a hoop skirt, was the matron of honor’s costume. The bridesmaids were dressed in lavender net and yellow marquisette, respectively. The gowns were fashioned with hoop skirts. They carried cascade bouquets of yellow roses and white mums.
Breakfast was served at the bride’s home and dinner at the church. In the afternoon a reception was held at the home.
Mrs. Hoesly is a graduate of the St. Joseph’s School of Nursing in Marshfield. Mr. Hoesly, a graduate of the Loyal high school in 1940, is a student at Eau Claire State Teachers college. For the past year and a half the bride has been a registered nurse at St. Joseph’s hospital in Marshfield.
Upon their return from a wedding trip to northern and eastern Wisconsin, the couple will be at home at 1009 South Farwell street, Eau Claire.
