Granton area (July 1929)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Ross autoed to Eau Claire Sunday and Miss Nora Ross came home with them for a three weeks’ vacation.

 

Mrs. L. E. Moh called on Grandma Hasz Sunday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Milton Johnson and daughters Genevieve and Fern, were visitors at Oscar Johnson’s and William Sternitzky’s homes Sunday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. August Wittke visited at the Carl Sternitzky home Thursday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Ed Schafer and family visited at the Alfred Bieler home at Loyal Sunday.

 

The following were Sunday guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gust Hahm: Margaret Kuer, Herbert Linzner of Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. John Bushon, Miss Anna Benner, and Mr. and Mrs. Gust Holtz of Neillsville and Carl Retta and daughters, Ida, Emma and Clara.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Sternitzky and family visited relatives at Dorchester Thursday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Louis Elmhorst and family and Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Helm and family were Marshfield visitors Wednesday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Clemens Kuechenmeister of Neillsville visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ferd Helm one evening last week.

 

Mrs. Albert Viergutz, who was at the Marshfield hospital several days, last week, is home again.  Her daughter is doing the housework.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Claude Helm and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Helm of Appleton were here to attend the funeral of Edward Guk and also visited at the Charles and Ferd Helm homes.

 

The following were Sunday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ferd Helm: Mr. and Mrs. Claude Helm and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Helm of Appleton, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Garbisch and family, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Helm and family, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Garbisch and family, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bartz and family and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Nowack.
