Humbird Man Directs Fight on Corn Borer - Ross Lawrence of Humbird, who is in the employ of the Agricultural Department, has been sent up to the state line of the northern peninsula of Michigan to patrol the border for the dreaded corn borer. With him is a crew of thirty-six men who search each car to see that no corn is brought into this state from Michigan where the borer is already well established.
