A baby girl came to gladden the home of Aug. Schwamb and wife Aug 11th.
Emil Manthey, Frank Kuhl and George and Henry Boyer left last week for the harvest fields in N.D.
Mrs. H. Richard and Willis Enhelder called at G. Grap’s last Sunday evening.
Wm. Glasow is erecting a new silo.
Mrs. Jake Leonard and children of Marshfield are visiting at the J. Jacklin home.
Willie Belter has returned home after a four months stay in St. Louis, where he has been receiving medical treatment.
Fred Schlinkert had a shingling bee one day last week.
Alvin Foster and wife and children of Colby are visiting at Fred Steinberg’s.
"Uncle George" Newcomb has just finished haying and if the weather holds good will have his harvesting done by Thanksgiving.
C. Clintsman and family spent Sunday with Fred Braeman’s at Christie.
Will Lawrence of York Center visited at W.P. Hales’ Wednesday.
Tom Griffith of Oklahoma spent last week with his brother, E.J. Griffith, and family.
