Threshing is the order of the day here. R. Frantz threshed for T.M. Winters Saturday and also for H. Knutson. On Monday he threshed for M. Skoda, W. Stevens and H. Wagner.
Miss Gertrude Nelson returned to Neillsville Sunday after a weeks visit among old friends.
W. Stevens attended the ball game at Neillsville Sunday.
Mrs. A.J. Moldenhauer and children returned Saturday from a short visit with relatives and friends at Junction City and Dancy, Wis. Miss Regna Moldenhauer will remain there for a week or so longer.
Miss Clara Frantz is visiting at Alma Center.
Miss Sadie Crawley of Thorp spent the latter part of the week at Ed. Carter’s.
Born to Robert Kuhn and wife Friday, August 15, a son.
Irving Stevens is visiting at Ladysmith.
W.E. Bell and wife are the proud parents of a little baby boy, who came to gladden their home Sunday, August 17.
Miss Gladys Winters spent Sunday in Neillsville.
Mr. Galbreath is still very low at this writing.
Mrs. Geo. Struebing is working at W.E. Bell’s.
