Olson, Mrs. C. A. (Injury - 26 October 1929)
Mrs. C. A. Olson was seriously injured Saturday forenoon in a very peculiar way. She had started for Stevens Point, riding with Mrs. Palmer Vinger of Greenwood, who was driving her own car. Just east of the Reed School on Pleasant Ridge they met another car, which as it passed threw a stone about the size and shape of a goose egg through the windshield striking Mrs. Olson in the eye, inflicting two bad cuts, one above and one below the eye. They stopped at a farm house for first aid, but as there was no phone they drove back to Neillsville for medical assistance. The wounds bled profusely and both cuts required several stitches to close. It seems certain however that the eye will be saved. The shock and loss of blood were quite serious, but Mrs. Olson is now on the gain.
