Marceau, Lorraine (25 SEPT 1948)
John Vogel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Vogel of Wisconsin Rapids, formerly of Loyal, claimed as his bride Miss Lorraine Marceau, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Marceau of Wisconsin Rapids, in a ceremony in St. Lawrence’s Catholic church rectort at Wisconsin Rapids on Saturday, Sept. 25.
Brown accessories complemented the bride’s green gabardine suit. She wore a rose corsage. Mrs. Jim Braunsky of Auburndale was matron of honor. She was gowned in a brown gabardine suit with brown accessories, Her corsage consisted of pink and white roses.
David Marceau of Wisconsin Rapids, brother of the bride, was best man, and Jim Braunsky was groomsman.
Supper for 150 guests was served at the home of the bride’s parents, and a dance was held at the Skyway ballroom, near Wisconsin Rapids.
The groom was graduated from the Loyal high school with the class of 1943, and the bride attended the Wisconsin Rapids high school.
Mr. Vogel is employed at Felker’s Service station and Mrs. Vogel by the Nekoosa-Edwards Paper Company, both at Wisconsin Rapids, where they will make their home.
The Loyal Tribune extends to the young couple its wishes for happiness.
