Miss Zada Cain, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ulysses Cain of Unity, were married on Saturday, Oct. 30, at the home of the bride’s parents by Rev. Lloyd Goetz.
The bride was gowned in white satin, with a bouffant skirt ending in a long train. A bateau neckline, long sleeves and tunic effect fashioned the bodice.
Mrs. Glen Bloom was matron of honor, wearing an aqua gown similar in style to that of the bride. She carried an arm spray of aqua and white carnations. The bridesmaid was Miss Rose Ertle, who was attired identically to that of the maid of honor and carried similar flowers.
Glen bloom of Loyal, brother og the groom, was best man, and Wayne Cain of Unity, Brother of the bride, was groomsmen. Hugh Johnson, cousin of the bride, was usher.
A dinner for 50 and a reception for 50 persons were held following the marriage ceremony.
Guests from away included: Esther Bloom of Eau Claire, Mr. and Mrs. Wesly Johnson of Madison, and Hugh Johnson of Phillips.
Mrs. Bloom was graduated from the Loyal high school with the class of 1948, and the groom attended the Colby high school. Mr. Bloom is employed at the Pine Grove cheese factory. Following a honeymoon in northern Wisconsin, Canada and Illinois, they will make their home in the town of Beaver.
