Ruth Bernice Sell, daughter of Mrs. Charles Porter of Loyal, and Glen P. Porter, son of Mr. and Mrs. Manly Porter of Riplinger, were married on Monday, Dec. 20, by the Rev. August Quandt at the Lutheran parsonage in Riplinger.
The bride wore a blue dress, trimmed with black net and her shoulder corsage contained pink carnations. Mrs. Clarence Ramm, sister of the groom, was bridesmaid. She wore a black dress, with a shoulder corsage of gladioli.
Hilbert Sell , uncle of the bride, was best man.
A supper for 20 persons was held at the home of the bride’s step-father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Porter.
Wedding cakes were made by Mrs. Manly Porter and Mrs. William Fohrman.
The newlyweds will make their home with the groom’s sister and brother-in-law at Medford.
The Loyal Tribune joins their many friends in wishing them a long and happy journey through life.
