Przybylski, Chester P. #2 (4 JUN 1927 - 9 AUG 2010)

THORP -- Chester P. Przybylski, 83, of Stevens Point, formerly of Thorp, died Monday, Aug. 9, 2010, at Harmony Living Center in Stevens Point.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 13, 2010, at St. Bernard-St. Hedwig's Catholic Church in Thorp. Burial will follow in New St. Hedwig's Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Thorp Funeral Home, with a 6 p.m. combined Knights of Columbus and parish rosary service. Visitation also will be at the church Friday from 9:30 a.m. until time of service.

Chester Peter Przybylski was born June 4, 1927, in the town of Withee, rural Thorp, to William and Lottie (Nowicki) Przybylski. He was united in marriage to Caroline Digoski on May 1, 1954, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Willard. They lived and farmed in the town of Reseburg, rural Thorp, for 38 years, before moving to the city of Thorp in 1992. Chester worked most of his life farming. In his younger years, he worked for a while at Blue Moon Cheese in Thorp and Thompson Wire in Chicago.

Surviving are two sons, Chester M. Przybylski Jr. of Stevens Point and Charles (Lana) Przybylski of Thorp; five grandchildren; and one brother, Florian (Cecelia) of Thorp.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Caroline, on July 16, 1999.
