Gregorich, Kathleen A. (11 JUN 1966)

 

A very pretty wedding was solemnized Saturday, June 11, 1966, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Greenwood, when Miss Kathleen Ann Gregorich, Milwaukee, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Matt Gregorich, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), and Kenneth R. Wentland, Milwaukee, son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Wentland, Milwaukee, exchanged marriage vows.  The Rev. Aloysius Baumann officiated at the double ring ceremony.  St. Mary’s girls’ choir sang the Nuptial High Mass.  Bouquets of white gladioli and yellow daisies decorated the altar.  The bride was given in marriage by her father.

 

Attendants were: Miss Sue Gissal, Menominee Falls, as maid of honor, and Raymond Kacmarek, Milwaukee, as best man.  Bridesmaids were: Miss Mary Jane Gregorich, Miss Patricia Wentland, and groomsmen were: Francis Gregorich, Stoughton; Joseph Nibbler and Robert Inglehart, Milwaukee.  James Gregorich was an usher.  Jill Varney, Withee, niece of the bride, was the flower girl.  She wore a long white bonded lace dress, styled with an Empire waist and satin sash, and wore a matching hair ribbon.  She carried a basket of yellow daisies.

 

Miss Gregorich chose a floor length white line A-line dress with a rounded neckline outlined with pearls and rhinestones, elbow length sleeves and a back panel inset fastened to a bow at the waist.  White gloves completed her attire.  Her shoulder length veil was fastened to a pearl crown.  She carried an orchid surround by stephanotis.

 

The bridal aides wore floor length yellow linen A-line dresses with rounded neckline and detachable satin bow at the back.  They wore matching hair bows and white gloves.  They carried baskets of yellow daisies.  The groom and his attendants appeared in full formal attire during the day and changed to semi-formal white dinner jackets for the evening.

 

The mother of the bride wore a beige linen suit with lace trimmed the groom’s mother chose a green lace jacket dress.

 

Dinner and supper were served at St. Mary’s Hall.  An afternoon reception was held at the American Legion Hall, Greenwood, and the dance was held at "K" Corners, Loyal.

 

Mrs. Wentland is a 1963 graduate of Greenwood High School and is employed by Kings Inc., Milwaukee.  Mr. Wentland attended Marquette High School and is a 1966 graduate of Marquette University.  He was a member of Alpha-Kappa Psi.  He is employed in the Treasury Department of an insurance firm.

 

Relatives and friends came from: Chicago, Ill.; Dubuque, Iowa; Milwaukee, Menominee Falls, Stoughton, Madison, Hudson, Thorp, Withee, Willard and Neillsville.
