Kobs, Gerald F. (1926? - July 21, 2010)
Gerald F. Kobs, 84, died July 21,
2010, in Los Angeles.
He was born in 1926 to the late Fred and Alma (nee Voge) Kobe.
Gerald served in the United States Army’s 84th Division in Europe during World War II.
He returned to Colby and several years later moved to California, where he resided until his death.
Gerald is survived by a sister, Bernice (Nee Kobs) Rosselet, Wauwatosa, four nieces and a nephew.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Delos Kobs and a sister, Eileen Kobs.
Services were held at Colby Memorial Cemetery on Monday, August 9,
2010. Rev. Mark Neumann officiated from Zion Lutheran
Church.
The Maurina Schilling Funeral Home in Colby assisted the family
with funeral arrangements.
