Volovsek, Frank & Mary (25^th - 17 MAY 1966)

On Saturday evening, May 14, 1966, friends and relatives gathered at the Stanley Volovsek home to help Mr. and Mrs. Frank Volovsek, Jr., celebrate their 25^th wedding anniversary.

Frank Volovsek, Jr., son of Frank and Anna Volovsek, and Mary Volarich, daughter of Mrs. Justina Volarich and the late Joseph Volarich, were married at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Willard on May 17, 1941.  The Reverend Father Marcel Marinsek officiated.  Attendants at the wedding were Joe Volovsek and Olga (Volarich) Volovsek; Mr. and Mrs. All Penne; Leo Muskatevc and Catherine (Muskatevc) Shields; Mary (Rutar) Halozen; Ann (Volovsek) Sladich; Stanley Volovsek and Cyril Rakovec.  All but one of the attendants were present for the anniversary celebration.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Volovsek, Jr. are the parents of four children: Barbara, Ed, Beverly and Linda, all at home.

Those attending from out of town were: Mr. and Mrs. Janvid Staut, La Crosse; Mr. and Mrs. Tony Jeras and family, Brookfield; Mr. and Mrs. John Volovsek and family, Superior; Mr. and Mrs. Tony Volovsek and family, Franklin; Mrs. Ann Sladich and Kathy, Marshfield; Vic Staut, Mira Kotar; Mr. and Mrs. Tony Halozen and family, Mr. and Al Penne and family; and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Shields, Milwaukee, and Miss Linda Ashbeck, Greenwood.  Also many relatives and friends from this area.
