The altar of the Neillsville Methodist Church was graced with bouquets of white gladioli and pink carnations for the wedding Saturday, May 14, 1966, uniting in marriage Miss Janice Ann Wendt of Milwaukee, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Wendt of Neillsville, and Ronald Ludwig Hribar of Milwaukee, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ludwig Hribar of Greenwood.  The Rev. Oscar Nichols officiated at the double ring ceremony.

The bride entered the church with her father, who gave her in marriage, attired in a floor length bridal gown of nylon sheer over taffeta with Alencon lace appliques accenting the bateau neckline.  The basque bodice was further highlighted by a fitted midriff.  The bell-shaped skirt was accented with Alencon lace appliques near the hemline and on the double Watteau train, with bow trim, which was attached to the back waistline.  Her bouffant veil of silk illusion was secured to a pillbox headpiece, trimmed with seed pearls.  She carried a bridal bouquet of red roses with green ivy and white bow trim.

Miss Edris Wendt was maid of honor for her sister.  Bridesmaids were Miss Mary Reams of Kenosha and Miss Cheryl Opelt of Neillsville.

The attendants wore Seaspray green floor length formals, styled with lace bodices that featured bateau necklines.  Their sheath skirts were of chiffon over taffeta, styled with satin accented empire waistlines.  The back of the bodices were completed by lace Watteau panels with bow trim.  They wore matching open crown pillbox headpieces to which their pouf veils were attached.  Pink roses and white chrysanthemums formed the attendants’ bouquets.

Tom Sondregger of Milwaukee was the best man.  Groomsmen were John Wildish of Neillsville and Robert Hribar of Greenwood.  Ushers were Melvin Wendt of Neillsville and Joe Tolaney, Jr. of Milwaukee.

Ludwig Hribar, Jr., carried the rings on a white heart shaped satin pillow.  The miniature bride was Penny Wendt.

Mr. and Mrs. Hribar left on a wedding trip to Tennessee and Kentucky, and on their return will reside at 1203 E. Sivger Circle, Apt. 1, Milwaukee.

The bride, a 1965 graduate of Neillsville High School, is employed in Milwaukee.  Mr. Hribar, a 1960 graduate of Greenwood High School, is a welder in that city.
