A daughter was born to M.Hadlock and wife on Feb. 13. Mr. Hadlock who is employed at Ingram, is expected down in a few days to make the acquaintance of his new heir.
S.S. Warner and wife attended two birthday parties at Thorp last week. The first was at John Norton’s on Tuesday evening, the occasion being his fifty-fifth natal-day. The other was in honor of Uncle Pete Lantz’s birthday and was held at this place on Thursday evening.
Mr. Culbertson’s remarks on Mr. Boardman’s story, in regard to Mr. Ruscher’s fall and subsequent condition, reminds us of two little boys who were disputing some point when one told the other that, while he wouldn’t call him a liar, he talked just as he did when fibbing.
The Ladies’ Aid supper at W.E. Hall’s Saturday evening, like those preceding it, was a pronounced social success. We did not learn how much was netted by the society, from the sale of suppers, but understand that it was a goodly sum.
Fred Miller and Lettie Anderson were married last Wednesday by Rev. Nielsen. Their numerous friends wish the many joys which are connected with the journey ahead of them.
