Miller, Lydia #2 (19 AUG 1883 - 1 JAN 1966)
Mrs. Lydia Miller, 82, lifelong resident of the Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.) area, died Saturday, Jan. 1, 1966, at 11:45 p.m. at the home of her daughter.
Services were conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, at Immanuel Unite Church of Christ with the Rev. Orval Egbert officiating. Burial was made in the West Side Cemetery.
The former Lydia Reineking was born Aug. 19, 1883, in the Town of Mead. Her marriage to Albert Miller took place May 17, 1905, at Greenwood. Mr. Miller preceded her in death on July 13, 1950.
After their marriage they lived on a farm west of Greenwood, and since the death of her husband, Mrs. Miller made her home with her daughters.
Survivors include a son, Arno, two daughters, Mrs. Walter (Martha) Decker and Mrs. Erna Wehrman, all of greenwood; a brother, Arthur Reineking of Grand Marsh; four sisters, Mrs. Wm. Becker and Miss Selma Vollrath of Los Angeles, Calif.; and Mrs. Amelia Decker of Sheridan, Wyoming, five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A brother and two sisters preceded her in death.
Pallbearers were: Art Wehrman, Charles Suda, Donald Noeldner, Kenneth Steiger, Oscar Miller and Norman Reineking.
Relatives from out of town attending were Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Becker, Miss Selma Reineking and Mr. and Mrs. Milton Sebastian, Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Nielsen, Waupaca; Mr. and Mrs. Dale Syth, Eau Claire; Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Steiger, Mrs. Amelia Mattausch, and Mr. and Mrs. Thone Karnitz, Neillsville; Mr. and Mrs. Orville Miller, Mrs. Augusta Miller and Oscar Noah, Alma; Mr. and Mrs. Norman Reineking, Colby; Harold Reineking, Madison; Mr. and Mrs. Art Wehrman and daughter of Loyal, and relatives and friends from the Owen, Loyal and surrounding area.
