Hein, Beverly Viola (7 December 1928 - 16 September 1993)
Colby - Services for Beverly Viola Hein, 64, Owen, who died at 4:55 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph’s Hospital Hospice Care Unit, Marshfield, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Community Funeral Home, Colby.
The Rev. David Ault of St. John’s Lutheran Church, North Spencer, will officiate with burial in the Town of Beaver Cemetery, Clark County.
Pallbearers will be Dick Fitzl, John Wantlin, Bob Steffes, Arnie Jagodzinski, Dale Seefeld and Mark Vanderhoof.
Visitation will be after 4 p.m. today at the funeral home with a Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary service at 7 tonight.
She was born Dec. 7, 1928, in the Town of Beaver, to the late William and Elizabeth (Raeck) Roohr. She attended Oak Grove School in the Town of Beaver. She was married to Paul A. Hein Sr. Aug. 24, 1946, in the Town of Beaver.
She worked at the Box Factory in Riplinger and Packaging Corp. of America in Colby. She also worked at the Loyal Canning Factory.
She was a member of VFW Post 2227 Women’s Auxiliary, Colby, and American Legion Post 358 Women’s Auxiliary in Unity.
She is survived by her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Douglas (Barbara) Seefeld of Riplinger; three sons, Paul D. Hein Jr. of Alexandria, Va., William D. of Chantilly, Va., and Scott J. of Owen: and five grandchildren.
She was predeceased by three brothers and three sisters.
