Irvine, David Almarion (2 December 1875 - 18 December 1959)

 

Greenwood - Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Immanuel United Church of Christ for David Almarion Irvine, 84, Greenwood, who died Friday at the Havenet Nursing Home in Owen where he had been a patient three weeks.  Previously he had been hospitalized at Marshfield for two weeks. The Rev. Orville Egbert will officiate and burial will be made in the Beaver Cemetery. 

 

The body will lie in state at the Hill Funeral Home from Sunday afternoon until 11 a.m. Monday, when it will be taken to the church.

 

Mr. Irvine was born Dec. 2, 1875, in the Town of Beaver.  His first marriage in 1898 was to Clara Kline who died in 1906.  He married Emma Melius May 13, 1908.  She also preceded him in death, on July 8, 1950.

 

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. James (Bernice) Bart, Manitowish Waters; two sons, Walter Irvine, Minneapolis, Minn., and Quinton Irvine, Greenwood; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a brother, John Irvine, Watertown.

 

Two brothers preceded him in death.
