Weyer, Betty L. (22 JUL 1950)

A wedding of interest to their many friends here is that of Betty Lee Weyer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. B. Lee of Waukesha, and Bennett Higbie, son of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Higbie of North Freedom.

The double ring ceremony was performed at 4 p.m. Saturday, July 22, 1950, at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Waukesha, by the Rev. Matthew Haas.

Their attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Allan Clouse of Waukesha, sister and brother-in-law of the bride.

After a two-week honeymoon in northern Wisconsin and Minnesota, Mr. and Mrs. Higbie will reside at 525 ½ Elizabeth St., Waukesha.

Mr. Higbie is a welder at General Malleable in Waukesha.  Mrs. Higbie is a former Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.) resident.
