Schuld, Edward F. (26 NOV 1880 - 2 OCT 1950)
Edward F. Schuld, 69, died at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, Monday, Oct. 2, 1950, at 12:30 p.m. He had been in ill health most of the summer and had been confined to his bed for three weeks before being taken to the hospital.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Oct. 4, at 9 a.m. at the St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. The Rev. Norbert King officiated and burial was made in the church cemetery.
Mr. Schuld was born Nov. 26, 1880. He was married to Katherine Schmitz at Colby.
He came to Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.) with his parents as a boy and settled on a farm near Pelsdorf. He moved to Loyal before he was married and spent most of his life here. He was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.
He is survived by two children, Mrs. Leslie (Grace) James, Mauston; and Henry, Hammond; three sisters, Mrs. Charles (Jennie) Blazel, Minneapolis; Mrs. John (Mary) Foltz, Washburn; and Mrs. Harley (Isabelle) Tisdale, Muscoda; 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Five children and four sisters preceded him in death.
Pallbearers were Frank Degenhardt, Donald Weyhmiller, L. A. Davel, Max Langfeldt, John Goetz, and Ed Domine.
Those from out of town attending the funeral were Mrs. Isabelle Tisdale and son, Edward, Muscoda; Mr. and Mrs. Albert Schmitz, Mrs. Ben Fritzshe, Mrs. Anna Schulz, Mr. and Mrs. John Schuld, Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Goetz, Germantown; Mrs. Walter Oelschlegel, Minneapolis; Henry Schuld, Hammond; and Mr. and Mrs. Leslie James of Mauston.
